My idea of grunge or whatever

Recently i've found myself graduating towards long skirts, sloppy tshirts and my beloved pleather jacket. looks like this one:

are really ticking all my fashion boxes. I went into New Look and tried on a black double layer maxi skirt not expecting much, tried it on, ummed and aahed over it. But I purchased it and i'm so glad I did because it's fast becoming one of my favourite items in my wardrobe. So easy to wear and so flattering!

I'm also addicted to tea

I got a tea straining set from Jenn for my birthday and i've been addicted to it ever since. Tea bags don't seen strong enough for me anymore! This whittard blend tastes a little bit odd - it has a slight taste of BBQ sauce! I might go back in for some Earl Grey soonGrey.

I am Titanium

Hello everyone!!

please appreciate my tidy room in these pictures, despite being 22 every time my room is tidy I call my mum and and make her look. Usually this is met with a sigh. But you've got to appreciate your small achievements!

I went to Durham the other day to mooch about and ended up meeting with my friend Aaron, who works at a cafe called Flat White, which I highly recommend. Every time I go in, they know to give me a triple shot cappuccino. WE got food from Tesco and sat by the river in the sun. A lovely day!

Shirt - River Island
Leggings - New Look
Jacket - New Look
Necklace - New Look
Bag - Vintage

I love this shirt. I found it on a random trip to River Island. I was walking out thinking I couldn't find anything and lo and behold there it was. It's not the most flattering of things but it's something I wear very regularly. Also this is my beloved pleather jacket. I've had it since 2008 and it's peeling and a bit shapeless but throwing it over any outfit just completes them.

The song in my head at the moment;

I'm not a huge fan of David Guetta I must admit but every time this song comes on the radio I go a bit mad. That's what I love about radio. I could just search for this song on youtube and listen to it over and over again but it makes it better when it comes on by surprise.

What's In Your Head?

Hello! my lack of updates is terrible, I apologise to you all! I've found my camera lead now, so will update more often I promise!

I'm officially on the dole, and going to Peterlee Job Centre every two weeks is sucking out my soul. Luckily i'm starting to get more hours at the radio station i've been volunteering at so hopefully I can sign off soon! Sadly the life of a freelance Broadcast Assistant means that sometimes you get shit loads of work, sometimes you get no work at all.

I've been slobbing around in outfits like this:

(I have NO idea why it looks a bit strange around the crotch there - I think I need a smaller pair of jeans!)

Jeans - New Look
T Shirt - River Island
Hoodie - Stolen from Luke originally from American Apparel
Hat - New Look

The song currently in my head, which is driving me mad because I've heard it about twice in my life and I have no idea why it's stuck in there!

I

So you may be looking at your blog feeds and thinking "who the hell is this that i'm following?" Well hello there! Its Ana, formerly One Fabulous Thing After Another. I decided a fresh start was needed, my old blog was so neglected it was dusty and curling at the edges.

But Anyway. The first outfit to kick off the proceedings!

Jeans - Dorothy Perkins
Shirt - Primark
Cardigan - New Look
Bag - Gina Tricot
Fox Tail - H&M
Necklace - Topshop
Earrings - River Island

I find myself leaning towards jeans more and more. I swore off jeans and trousers in uni, only wearing trackies to the gym or rehearsals. But i bought one pair, and found that if i bought well fitting ones, i actually enjoy getting my legs out! even if they are short and stocky!

I wore this to go grab some lunch and see The Iron Lady with Luke.

I'm still trying to decide if i enjoyed it or not...my mum wants to see it so i may take her and see it again! as long as we go for sushi afterwards. I'd go see any film as long as there was the promise of sushi after!

until next time!
xx
